"Salute to Heroes VII" Reception Honors The Military At South Shore Harbour Resort And Conference Center

Since its beginning the restaurant has teamed up with the R.J.H. Foundation in a “Salute To Heroes” annual event held at South Shore Harbour Hotel. The foundation is named after Ray Joseph Hutchinson, a graduate of Clear Creek High School, who died in Iraq serving his country.

The foundation proceeds go directly to deserving CCISD students in the form of renewable scholarships. Each year the amount for scholarships has grown, most recently awarding 12 new and renewing scholarships.
 
Hosted each June, the event features guest speakers, a tribute to military service, dinner, silent and live auctions, and the awarding of scholarships.
